To check the validity of an electronic vignette, enter the vehicle's registration number and country of registration.
Vehicles subject to the fee
Every motor vehicle with at least four wheels and a maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 t must have an electronic vignette before entering a tolled section.

- Vehicle of a holder of the Slovak parking card for severely disabled persons (ZŤP) (after registering the exemption with NDS)
Slovak motorway vignette fees
The fee for the Slovak motorway vignette has changed. The time-based fee is set by Government Regulation of the Slovak Republic No. 232/2024 Coll.
The time-based fee for the Slovak motorway vignette is 8,10 € for one day, 10,80 € for ten days and 17,10 € for thirty days, and the fee for the annual Slovak vignette is 90,00 €. Vehicles powered solely by electricity or hydrogen are not exempt from the fee.
Vignette types in Slovakia
Slovakia offers four types of electronic vignette. For regular motorway use we recommend the annual vignette. For shorter periods there are 30-day and 10-day vignettes, and since 2024 a 1-day vignette for a single transit.
Before you travel
Before you travel, check that you carry your driving licence, vehicle registration certificate and proof of motor liability insurance (e.g. a Green Card), and that the vehicle has the mandatory equipment.

Electronic vignettes
The electronic vignette system is managed and operated by the Slovak National Motorway Company (Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, NDS).

How to buy a vignette
Buy a vignette- Choose the validity period: 1 day, 10 days, 30 days or 1 year.
- Enter the registration number and country of registration.
- Choose the start date (up to 26 days in advance).
- Enter your e-mail address; we send the confirmation there.
- After payment, the system sends the confirmation by e-mail and, on request, by SMS.
